THERMOCLEAR LONDON ONTARIO
ThermoClear is a radiofrequency (RF) treatment used to gently target and “dehydrate” select minor, benign skin imperfections so they naturally shed as your skin heals. It’s an excellent option for clients who want a precise, in-office solution for concerns like milia, skin tags, cherry angiomas, and more.
At SkinSunday, we focus on results that look natural and feel confident — and we’ll always assess whether a spot is appropriate to treat, or if it should be evaluated by a physician first.
-
What ThermoClear can treat
ThermoClear can be used on a variety of common superficial concerns, including:
- Skin tags
- Milia
- Cherry angiomas (small red vascular bumps)
- Sebaceous hyperplasia (enlarged oil glands)
- Sun spots / age spots (select cases)
-
Why clients love it
- Targeted & precise: treats the spot without treating the whole face
- Quick appointments
- Minimal downtime: expect temporary redness and a small “micro-scab” while healing (varies by area and spot type)
- Inclusive approach: ThermoClear is designed to be used across all skin types
-
What to expect
- You may feel a warm tingling session as each spot is treated
- Redness and mild swelling can happen right after, then small scabbing/flaking as the spot heals
- Many clients see a strong improvement after one session, but some concerns need a series depending on size, depth, and location

Aftercare
To support smooth healing, we recommend:
Don’t pick or scratch the area; avoid exfoliating for 7–10 days
Keep it clean and dry; avoid active products on the area for ~48 hours
Avoid hot water/heat, heavy sweating, swimming/hot tubs for the first 24 hours
Avoid sun exposure and use SPF 30+ while healing (helps reduce risk of pigmentation
changes)
Makeup is usually okay after 24 hours if skin is intact/no bleeding
Your Questions, Answered
-
When aftercare is followed and spots are appropriately selected, most clients heal very well. Risk
depends on location, skin type, and whether the area is picked during healing.
-
Some spots respond in one treatment, while others (larger/deeper) may need more than one session.
-
ThermoClear is designed for use across all skin types, and we still tailor settings and aftercare to your skin.
-
We only treat benign appearing lesions appropriate for this modality. Anything suspicious will not be treated and you will be referred back to your primary health care provider.
